Position Overview

We are looking for a Social Media Community Manager to join our growing marketing team. Based out of our Toronto office, this position will manage Fitch Ratings’ social media presence across global platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. You will be responsible for driving engagement, growing followers, and supporting Fitch Group’s marketing and community initiatives. The ideal candidate is a proactive, creative, and experienced social media manager with a strong understanding of B2B marketing, community building, and social media strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Social Media Management: Manage and grow Fitch Ratings and Fitch Group brands across multiple social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
  • Strategy Development: Work with the Social Lead to develop and execute social media strategies to increase engagement, grow followers, and achieve marketing goals.
  • Content Creation: Produce high-quality social media content, leveraging existing materials like research, articles, and videos. Ensure content aligns with brand voice and tone.
  • Community Engagement: Foster engagement by moderating and interacting with followers, clients, and ambassadors to build and grow Fitch’s online community.
  • Social Media Campaigns: Design and deliver organic social media campaigns to support Fitch Ratings’ objectives.
  • Employee Advocacy: Lead and manage Fitch’s social media ambassador and employee advocacy programs. Provide best practice guidance to ambassadors.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external partners on potential social media collaborations.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of social media campaigns. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve engagement and reach.
  • Policy Compliance: Ensure all social media content adheres to internal policies and industry standards.

Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
    • Experience: 3+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years managing social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.), preferably in a B2B environment.
    • Tools: Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Brandwatch, etc.) for publishing, reporting, and social listening.
    • Skills:
  • Exceptional writing, proofreading, and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
