Job Description/Overview:
Casa Shattuck Senior Care seeks compassionate and reliable caregivers to provide assistance to clients requiring care. This is a live-in Resident Manager/Caregiver role tailored for individuals with Adult Foster Home (AFH) experience, offering a fulfilling opportunity in senior care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with medications, treatments, and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
Provide hygiene assistance, companionship, and meal preparation.
Perform household chores and maintain documentation.
Manage documentation, chart audits, and scheduling.
Handle administrative duties, including faxes, calls, paperwork, and on-call shift coverage.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in an Adult Foster Home (AFH).
Ability to pass a criminal background check.
Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing).
Current CPR/First Aid certification.
Dementia training per Oregon Administrative Rules.
EQC training.
Food Handler Card.
HCBS training.
Experience:
At least 2 years working with seniors in an Adult Foster Home setting.
Skills:
Strong caregiving and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Empathy and reliability.
