About the Opportunity:
This is a remote, flexible freelance position where you will be responsible for reviewing and improving AI-generated content. You will play a key role in training AI models to better understand and generate high-quality English text.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and rank AI-generated responses based on quality and accuracy.
- Write, edit, and rewrite prompts and responses, including research and fact-checking.
- Evaluate the factual accuracy and relevance of AI-produced content.
- Provide constructive feedback to improve AI-generated text.
Desired Expertise:
- Experience as a professional writer, editor, or content creator.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a writing-related discipline, preferably from a reputable institution.
- Strong command of English grammar, spelling, and writing style, specifically New Zealand English.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify strengths and weaknesses in written content.
- Logical reasoning skills and the ability to provide clear explanations of content quality.
Compensation:
- Pay rates range from $25 to $59 NZD per hour for core project work, with variations depending on expertise and other factors.
- Higher rates may be offered for advanced qualifications (e.g., PhDs).
- Incentive payments may be available for certain projects.
- Lower rates may apply for non-core work such as onboarding or overtime.

- This is a 1099 freelance contract opportunity through the Outlier.ai platform.
