About the Role:
This is a freelance, reading and writing-intensive role where you will be working remotely. With flexible hours, you can choose when to contribute your expertise to train AI models, ensuring that your schedule fits your lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and rank AI-generated responses for quality, relevance, and accuracy.
- Write, rewrite, and refine prompts and responses, ensuring clarity and correctness.
- Conduct research and fact-check content to improve AI model outputs.
- Assess the factual accuracy and relevance of AI-produced text, providing detailed feedback for improvement.
Desired Expertise:
- Proven experience as a writer or editor, particularly in AI or content creation.
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in a writing-related field (preferred).
- Strong command of New Zealand English, including spelling, grammar, and writing style.
- Excellent logic, reasoning, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to evaluate and explain the strengths and weaknesses of written content.
Compensation:
- Pay rates range from $25 to $59 NZD per hour for core project work, depending on experience, skills, and expertise.
- Higher rates may be available for those with advanced qualifications such as a PhD.
- Non-core work, such as onboarding or overtime, may offer lower rates, but some projects provide additional incentive payments.
Additional Information:
- This is a freelance 1099 contract role through the Outlier.ai platform.
- You must be authorized to work in New Zealand.
