Job Description/Overview:
JBS Beef City, part of Australia’s largest meat and food producer, is seeking a Render Operator to join the team. This full-time position involves controlling render labor functions, including managing tallow quality, meat meal, and blood cooking.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10:15pm (38.75 hours per week), with optional overtime on Saturdays when available.
Salary:
Starting wage: $1,002.38 per week (full-time gross)
Potential increase to $1,144.64 once competent
Additional afternoon shift penalty rates: $85.84
Key Responsibilities:
Operate render labor functions
Control tallow quality, meat meal, and blood cooking processes
Support a team environment, from general labor to skilled key roles
Adhere to WHS and Training programs
Qualifications:
Prior experience beneficial but not required (training provided)
Forklift experience and ticket advantageous
Ability to drive trucks and tractors
Reliable transportation
Willingness to receive a Q-Fever vaccination if needed
