Job Description/Overview:
Rocky Mountain Assisted Living is seeking a qualified caregiver to provide high-quality care to elderly residents. This position involves assisting with daily living activities, maintaining a clean environment, and supporting the residents’ physical and emotional well-being under the supervision of the House Manager and other staff leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with daily living activities per their care plan.
Administer routine medications following Colorado Health Department and RMAL policies.
Prepare and conduct activities, ensuring at least one activity per shift.
Communicate resident condition changes with relevant staff.
Maintain cleanliness throughout the home, including resident rooms, common areas, and kitchen.
Prepare meals based on a weekly menu, following food safety practices.
Complete required documentation in logs and medication records.
Qualifications:
Sympathetic attitude toward elderly care.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
QMAP (Qualified Medication Administration Professional) and First Aid certification.
Minimum age of 18.
High School Diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of experience in elder care or caregiving.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year in caregiving for the elderly or individuals with disabilities.
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow procedures and maintain a clean environment.

Pay Range: $33,000 – $41,000 annually.
Training, competency programs, and in-service programs are provided.
