Position: Enhanced Care Team Support Worker – Nurse Specialling

Job Description/Overview:
The Enhanced Care Team Support Worker will support high-risk patients requiring close supervision or 1:1 enhanced care. The role involves working with patients experiencing confusion, dementia, delirium, or mental health challenges. Responsibilities include providing personal care, engaging patients in activities, encouraging mobility, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Support patients with dementia, delirium, and mental health challenges.
Provide 1:1 supervision and care across the hospital as needed.
Conduct personal care, documentation, and therapeutic activities.
Work independently and calmly with challenging behaviors across age groups.
Qualifications:
Dementia/Delirium Training Tier 1 or equivalent.
NVQ Level 3 in health and social care (or willingness to complete).
Basic IT skills or willingness to develop.
Experience:
Essential: Experience in Dementia/Delirium and Mental Health settings.
Desirable: Experience in Children’s/Learning Disability settings.
Skills:
Effective communication across diverse patient groups.
Ability to work as part of a team and adapt flexibly to work needs.
