Position: Experienced Caregiver Needed

Job Description/Overview:
Community Horizons seeks a compassionate caregiver or CNA with at least two years of experience to support a young gentleman in a private home setting. This role involves providing personal and medical care in a respectful, 1:1 in-home environment, aiming to foster independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform catheter care with dignity and comfort.
Administer G-tube feedings for nutritional support.
Assist with transportation for work and outings.
Use a sling lift for physical and emotional support.
Provide daily personal care (e.g., showering, shaving, dressing).
Ensure proper PPE use to maintain health and trust.
Distribute medication and offer health management support.
Qualifications:
CNA license or 2+ years of caregiving experience
Ability to pass a background check
Experience:
Minimum of two years in caregiving or as a CNA.
Skills:
Compassionate, respectful care approach
Effective communication and time management
Knowledge of health protocols and medication management

Additional Information:
Schedule: Sunday – Tuesday 11pm-7am, every other Saturday 7am-3pm
Pay: $16 per hour with a shift differential for the 3rd shift
