Job Description/Overview:
Apollo Home Healthcare is looking for dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our compassionate team in Runcorn, Cheshire. This role involves providing high-quality, person-centered care to our adult service users. We offer both day and night shifts, with flexible, confirmed rotas.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide essential care, including personal care, medication administration, and moving and handling support.
Assist service users in daily activities and support them in their hobbies and community engagement.
Help with bedtime routines, companionship, and provide attentive care as needed.
Work independently and adapt to each service user’s unique needs, while maintaining a supportive environment.
Essential Requirements:
Minimum of 3 months care experience
Competency in personal care, moving and handling, and medication administration
Pet friendly, as some service users have pets at home
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
