Job Description/Overview:
Apollo Home Healthcare seeks compassionate Healthcare Assistants passionate about delivering personalized care and support to service users in Birmingham. This role involves assisting children and adults in activities, personal care, and companionship, enhancing their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide person-centered care, including personal care, medication administration, and moving and handling support.
Assist service users with hobbies and activities, such as arts and crafts, outdoor play, and educational games for younger users.
Support bedtime routines, offer companionship, and address needs attentively.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 months prior care experience
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
Proficiency in personal care, moving and handling, and medication administration
Experience:
At least 3 months in a caregiving or healthcare role
Skills:
Compassionate and patient-focused
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Able to manage responsibilities independently
Pay Rate:
£13.00 – £18.00 per hour
Work Patterns:
Full Time, Part Time, Days, Nights
Shift durations from 4 to 12 hours
Alternate weekend availability required
