Job Description/Overview:
Disney Streaming’s Experience Management team seeks a motivated and entry-level Software Engineer to help develop tools and APIs for Disney+ and Hulu. This engineer will work with a team to create solutions that enhance user experience, contributing to Disney’s commitment to delivering world-class streaming experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain internal tools and APIs for viewer experience
Collaborate with Product and Program Managers to implement and improve tools
Participate in an agile environment to ensure timely feature delivery
Enhance system functionality while improving existing solutions
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field OR relevant Coding Bootcamp
Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, Kotlin)
Familiarity with frontend technologies (React, Angular, etc.)
Team collaboration and effective communication skills
Experience:
Relevant experience or personal project work with frontend technologies
Team-oriented problem-solving experience
Skills:
Coding proficiency in Java, Python, or Kotlin
Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React or Angular
Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Additional Information:
Salary range for Los Angeles, CA: $93,400.00 – $125,200.00 annually. The base pay will reflect internal equity, candidate’s experience, and job-related skills. A bonus or long-term incentive may be included, along with a range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
