Job Description/Overview:
This position within the Department of Neurology’s Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center is responsible for developing databases, conducting quality audits, curating reports, and fulfilling resource sharing requests. The role includes data management, input, analysis, and recommendations to support research on biomarkers related to Alzheimer’s Disease and brain injury.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management (30%)
Quality Control (25%)
Database Reporting and Analysis (25%)
Training and Mentoring (10%)
Program Liaison (5%)
Miscellaneous Duties (5%)
Qualifications:
BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Proficiency in SQL database administration, Microsoft/Office 365, SQL Server, and other database systems
Ability to work both independently and in a team
Critical thinking skills, strong organizational abilities, and confidentiality
Experience:
1-3 years with clinical research data management systems
1-3 years in SQL database programming and administration
Experience with data services, software integration, and web application development
Skills:
Problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to prioritize projects and handle multiple tasks effectively
