Job Overview
We are seeking a Content Moderator to support our TopicPulse platform, which delivers real-time insights on trending stories, social activity, and audience interests to publishers and broadcasters. If you’re detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and have a strong interest in content moderation, this remote, part-time role is a perfect fit!
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all elements within the TopicPulse system appear correctly for end-users.
- Moderate digital content, stories, and videos to ensure they meet guidelines.
- Monitor and manage quality control across the TopicPulse platform.
- Identify and escalate any platform issues to the appropriate channels.
- Conduct research on trending topics and verify content accuracy.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Excellent research and documentation skills.
- Initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Basic understanding of web technology, interfaces, and dashboards.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under deadline.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, or a related field (preferred, not required).
- Experience in Radio or Television Broadcasting is a plus.
- Proofreading or editing experience is a plus.
Schedule
- Part-time hours, Monday-Friday.
- Morning and mid-day availability in Eastern Time (ET).
