Job Description/Overview:
The Housekeeper, or Guest Environment Expert, at Luxembourg Marriott Hotel Alfa is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel to ensure a memorable guest experience. This role includes various housekeeping tasks such as cleaning guest rooms, public spaces, and responding to guest requests. Housekeepers at Marriott create a safe, organized, and inviting environment, all while upholding company standards and presenting a professional appearance.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome guests by creating a clean and organized environment in guest rooms and public areas.
Manage guest requests and maintain housekeeping carts and supplies.
Uphold safety and quality standards by following company policies.
Physically engage in tasks (move, lift, carry, push, pull items up to 50 lbs) to ensure hotel spaces meet guest expectations.
Support a positive guest experience through hands-on housekeeping and maintaining confidentiality.
Qualifications:
Ability to communicate clearly with guests and colleagues.
Familiarity with safety and quality protocols.
Previous housekeeping experience is a plus but not required.
Experience:
1-4 years in a housekeeping or guest service role preferred.
Skills:
Good physical stamina to perform housekeeping duties.
Attention to detail and commitment to creating a welcoming environment.
Flexibility with shift availability (weekends, holidays).
