Position: Client Service Manager

Job Description/Overview:
The Client Service Manager will manage client relationships, ensuring high service quality and timely delivery. This role includes monitoring service levels, acting as the primary client contact, and managing service issues. The role is part of the Institutional Services team, which works to provide tailored solutions to asset managers, asset owners, insurance companies, and official institutions globally. The position is available in a hybrid model with a balance of home and office work.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop a comprehensive understanding of State Street’s products and services
Manage client accounts and coordinate with internal teams to ensure service excellence
Serve as the primary escalation point for service issues
Oversee operating model improvements and service quality monitoring
Lead client meetings, discussions on KPIs, and follow-up on incidents and remedial actions
Manage new business onboarding and client changes
Ensure compliance with KYC/AML and legal documentation requirements
Act as the Local Relationship Manager and lead the commercial and legal relationship with clients
Attend industry events and forums as needed
Provide subject matter expertise for RFP projects and due diligence meetings
Qualifications:
Degree in a relevant field or significant industry experience
Experience:
5+ years in financial services, ideally with knowledge of State Street’s operational environment
Skills:
Strong relationship and communication skills
Fluency in English; other languages are a plus
Ability to work independently, handle pressure, and meet deadlines
