Job Description/Overview:
Nursetel.com is looking for compassionate caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of care. This role is dedicated to enhancing client quality of life, ensuring comfort, and promoting independence. The ideal candidate will support clients with personalized care, maintaining their dignity and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Observe and report changes in client conditions.
Administer prescribed medications and adhere to schedules.
Prepare meals based on dietary needs and preferences.
Provide direct support to individuals with dementia or memory care needs.
Respect client privacy and maintain confidentiality.
Engage in hospice care activities when needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in caregiving or related field preferred, but not required.
Familiarity with hospice and dementia care practices is a plus.
Experience:
Experience with patient observation and documentation preferred; training provided.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and caregiving skills.
Knowledge of dementia care and ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
