Job Description/Overview
As a Kitchen Assistant at a Barchester care home, you will help provide first-class food and hospitality, enabling us to deliver exceptional care and support to our residents. Your role is crucial in producing meals and creating a fulfilling dining experience, ensuring that our residents enjoy healthy, nutritious food as part of their daily life. You will work closely with your colleagues and have the opportunity to get to know residents, enhancing their overall hospitality experience while developing your own skills.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in meal preparation and food production
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
Help create a welcoming dining experience for residents
Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and care teams
Qualifications
Reliability and a commitment to maintaining high kitchen standards
No formal qualifications necessary, but experience in a commercial or care setting is beneficial
Experience
Experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
