Role Overview

We’re seeking a Virtual Assistant – Social Media to oversee daily social media interactions and support our brand’s visibility and community engagement efforts. In this role, you’ll manage communications across our social platforms, provide outstanding customer engagement, and collaborate with our teams to enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee daily activities on our social media accounts, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and interactions in a timely, professional manner.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices for organic growth.
  • Monitor competitor activity and social media trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Growth and Customer Service teams to align social media efforts with broader business initiatives.
  • Conduct internet research and organize information on spreadsheets.
  • Handle various social media-related administrative tasks and identify opportunities for process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English with excellent grammar, spelling, and syntax.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in virtual assistant work and social media management.
  • Proven experience managing social media for a brand or business.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, and CRM platforms (Zendesk, Gorgias, or similar).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., SproutSocial, Hootsuite, Buffer, Later) is a plus.
  • Startup or fast-paced environment experience preferred.

Schedule

This part-time role requires a minimum of 25 hours per week.

Training Period:
Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM ET

Post-Training Schedule:
Monday to Friday: 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM ET
Saturday and Sunday: 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM ET

Compensation

  • $5 per hour (USD)
