About the Role
We are seeking a Social Media Manager to join our Growth team and lead our social media strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for growing engagement with both developers and executive audiences on social platforms like LinkedIn and X (Twitter). Collaborating closely with the engineering and Product Marketing teams, you’ll develop content that resonates with the AI community and share our story in a way that highlights our value in the AI space.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage our brand’s social media presence, with a primary focus on LinkedIn and X (Twitter).
- Understand and navigate the AI community, identifying key players and timely topics, and swiftly responding to relevant news or events.
- Create, adapt, and tailor content to engage both developer and executive audiences, ensuring the right voice, tone, and quality.
- Leverage AI tools to create, analyze, and report on content performance.
- Run engagement experiments, monitor trends, and provide actionable insights on social media performance.
- Engage in active social listening, monitoring mentions and conversations to identify growth opportunities and react accordingly.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years managing social media for a major brand, ideally with a track record of growing channels or revitalizing engagement.
- Platform Familiarity: Active on X (Twitter) for at least 3 years with experience in community building and content engagement.
- Technical Aptitude: Technical background or strong interest in AI; experience with the Twitter API is a plus.
- AI Tools: Familiarity with AI tools for content creation, monitoring, and reporting.
- Social Media Management Tools: Experience using scheduling tools like Typefully and Buzzsprout, and social listening tools for monitoring mentions and trends.
- Communication Skills: Ability to adapt tone and style across platforms, especially X and LinkedIn, to engage a technical audience effectively.
- Mindset: High agency, curiosity, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
Nice to Haves
- Experience running social media ad campaigns.
- Skills in video editing for social media content.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual Salary: $111,000 – $153,000 (compensation may vary based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location).
