Job Description/Overview:
The Market Human Resources Assistant is responsible for creating and maintaining filing systems, handling office correspondence, distributing mail, managing office supplies, and assisting walk-in candidates with applications. This role also includes maintaining application areas to be accessible, assisting with employee records, and providing support to employees and management on HR programs and policies. Confidentiality and adherence to company standards are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize and maintain filing systems for HR records.
Process and type office correspondence using a computer.
Distribute mail and manage HR office supplies.
Assist walk-in candidates and maintain a clean, accessible application space.
Respond to employee inquiries on HR programs and policies.
Report accidents and maintain confidentiality of employee and property records.
Develop positive working relationships and uphold quality expectations.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related experience in Human Resources or office administration.
Supervisory Experience: Not required.
License or Certification: None required.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year in a similar administrative or HR-related role.
Skills:
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
Familiarity with filing systems and HR procedures.
