Job Description/Overview
The Maintenance Operative will perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the care home is safe and well-maintained. Duties include minor repairs, basic plumbing, decorating, and regular security checks around the premises. This role requires independence, initiative, and practical skills in maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct basic plumbing, carpentry, and decorating as needed
Perform general repairs and scheduled maintenance tasks
Ensure security and safety of the care home
Conduct regular checks across all areas of the property
Qualifications
No specific qualifications are required, though relevant certifications are beneficial.
Experience
Experience in general maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, or decorating is advantageous.
Skills
Ability to work independently
Practical skills in maintenance and repair
