Affiliate Sales Coordinator

Our team of shopping experts curates and tests nearly a thousand deals each week, ensuring there’s always something new for our audience to discover. Although our headquarters are in Boise, ID, our team operates fully remotely across several states.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Affiliate Sales Coordinator to support our Sales team in this fast-paced digital environment. In this role, you will manage inbound affiliate partnerships, optimize existing relationships, negotiate new partnerships, and identify new revenue opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing business and cultivate long-lasting partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the affiliate email inbox for new inbound partnerships.
  • Maintain a database of active affiliate partners, including rates and networks.
  • Collaborate with Sales account leads to support clients, identify new business opportunities, and set key objectives focused on customer success.
  • Develop a deep understanding of KCL’s product solutions and strategic business goals to support pitch creation and value articulation.
  • Monitor and maintain the client database using Salesforce, Hubspot, and other tools.
  • Track client sites and online forums for promotional opportunities.
  • Collect and provide feedback on client promotional calendars; proactively re-engage with lapsed accounts.
  • Communicate regularly with Deal Editors and Content teams for ongoing support.
  • Use data insights to negotiate rates with existing clients.
  • Provide linking support for the content team, including link creation and editing within our content management system.
  • Perform ad hoc requests as directed by the Sales Manager.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in strategy, communications, account management, brand management, analytics, database management, performance marketing, affiliate marketing, digital marketing, training, sales, or consulting.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data strategically.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and enthusiastic with a desire to learn.
  • Effective time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within teams and take ownership of tasks.

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience with sales, CRM, and research software.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Slides).

Physical Job Requirements:

  • Use of fingers for typing and other tasks.
  • Ability to express ideas verbally.
  • Ability to perceive sounds and make distinctions in sound levels.
