Job Description/Overview
As a Kitchen Assistant at Sanders Senior Living, you will support our Chefs with daily kitchen operations, including maintaining cleanliness, performing general kitchen tasks, and ensuring smooth kitchen service in the care home. Adherence to company policies, COSHH, and HACCP guidelines is essential. You will also assist in catering for special events, such as the annual summer fayres.
Key Responsibilities
Support Chefs with meal preparation and service
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to hygiene standards
Follow COSHH and HACCP guidelines
Assist in catering for events at the care home
Qualifications
Basic knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen operations
Ability to follow health and safety protocols
Experience
Experience in a fast-paced kitchen is preferred.
Skills
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Attention to detail and a passion for food service
