Position Overview:
Unlock Health is seeking a creative Content Writer & Editor to join our dynamic Content and Engagement team. As a storyteller and innovator, you will craft engaging, high-quality copy that translates complex healthcare concepts into clear and compelling content. You’ll collaborate closely with content strategists, SEO experts, and marketing technologists to deliver audience-centered content across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Write and edit engaging content for websites, blogs, social media, print, email campaigns, and educational materials.
- Brand Voice & Messaging: Ensure consistency in brand voice and tone across all content channels.
- Research & Insights: Conduct thorough research to create informed and relevant content based on current trends and target audiences.
- SEO Writing: Collaborate with the SEO team to produce optimized content that balances keyword strategy with readability.
- Creative Ideation: Generate fresh content ideas for campaigns, digital assets, and editorial calendars.
- Content Adaptation: Tailor content for different platforms and audiences, from long-form blog posts to concise social media updates.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to create cohesive and visually compelling content that aligns with overall strategies.
- Content Quality Control: Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, compliance with industry standards, and a high level of quality.
- Content Formats: Contribute to diverse formats including written copy, video scripts, and infographics to enhance audience engagement.
Ideal Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in content writing, copywriting, or content creation, preferably in healthcare or a related field.
- Proven ability to produce engaging, clear, and grammatically correct copy across various formats.
- Solid understanding of SEO best practices and experience writing optimized content.
- Strong research skills to create accurate and relevant content for target audiences.
- Experience working collaboratively in fast-paced environments with cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional attention to detail regarding grammar, tone, voice, and fact-checking.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
