Job Description/Overview:
Altasciences is seeking a Research Associate for the Laboratory Sciences department. This role focuses on maintaining lab operations, including data collection, specimen documentation, and equipment upkeep to support scientific studies. The associate will engage in activities such as qPCR, DNA isolation, and ligand binding assays.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct laboratory maintenance and ensure equipment readiness
Prepare materials for assays and perform analytical tasks
Maintain accurate records for samples and lab activities
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in a scientific field (Bachelor’s preferred)
Minimum of 1-year relevant laboratory experience
Experience:
Laboratory experience, especially in bioanalytical techniques
Skills:
Proficient in lab maintenance and record-keeping
Ability to handle laboratory equipment and interpret safety protocols
