Job Description:
The Caregiver supports residents by providing personal care and assisting with various daily activities, including meal preparation, grooming, toileting, and housekeeping. They follow the Resident Care Plan, support ambulation, assist with medical administration, and help maintain a clean and safe environment. Additionally, they report resident conditions and safety concerns and document observations accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily living activities like bathing, grooming, and nutrition
Provide support with ambulation and transfers
Assist in medication administration and related documentation
Perform housekeeping duties in resident and common areas
Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
High School diploma required
Six months of experience as a caregiver or equivalent
CNA or MA certification preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Reliable, flexible, and able to work weekends and holidays
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds
Moderate noise environment; reasonable accommodations available for those with disabilities
