Job Description/Overview:
The Sales Manager is responsible for increasing revenue and profitability within Alimak’s Construction Division for Scanclimber products. This role involves business development, managing rental dealers, construction customers, and end users. Responsibilities include developing sales strategies, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with company guidelines. The position also requires collaboration with the National Sales Manager, managing contracts, and providing customer feedback for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sales strategies
Manage accounts and ensure repeat business
Provide accurate Order Intake forecasts
Maintain process efficiency and environmental standards
Handle contract negotiations and risk management
Ensure compliance with company policies
Coordinate with division distributors and local sales teams
Provide feedback on market trends for product improvement
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Engineering, or Marketing (preferred)
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Sales, Construction, and/or Scaffolding
Proven sales track record in suspended product lines
Experience in contract negotiation, risk identification, and mitigation
Consultative sales experience and customer-focused
Leadership and negotiation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Financial literacy and time management skills
Experience:
Experience selling in the Construction industry and customized capital goods
Experience in international organizations with multiple regions and product lines
Skills:
Strong customer relationship management
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and consultative sales techniques
