Job Description/Overview:
Join Securitas in making the world a safer place! We are seeking a passionate Data Centre Security Screening Supervisor who will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and security of data. As the first point of contact for visitors and contractors, you will leave a lasting impression through exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the security team’s day-to-day operational requirements
Conduct security screening of all personnel entering and exiting restricted areas
Ensure compliance with all security procedures and policies
Identify and prevent the introduction of prohibited items into restricted areas
Escalate and report on incidents as needed
Patrol assigned areas and address any security issues
Prerequisites:
Must hold a current AGSVA NV1 clearance
Current State-Based Security Licence
Customer service experience
Experience:
Not specified, but supervisory experience and security background preferred.
Skills:
Excellent communication skills
Conflict resolution and negotiation skills
Strong multi-tasking abilities
Basic to intermediate PC skills (MS Suite)
Exceptional customer service standards
Experience with two-way radio communication
Excellent observational skills

Additional Information:
Hourly pay rate: $48.69 (approximately $108k per annum)
Benefits include a sign-on bonus of $250 after 3 months, $250 after 6 months, and $500 after 12 months of service
Monday to Sunday Day Shift (7-day fortnight)
Full training and uniform provided
