Statham Manor Care Centre, a purpose-built care facility located in the picturesque village of Lymm, Cheshire, is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping & Laundry Assistant. Our home, which cares for 66 residents with various needs including residential and nursing care, offers a high standard of safety, comfort, and care. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming, home-like environment where residents feel secure and valued.
As a member of the housekeeping team, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the care home to the highest standards. We provide ongoing training and support, including career progression opportunities within our growing company.
Role Responsibilities
Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules and sign off necessary paperwork.
Follow guidance from the Head Housekeeper to ensure high standards are met.
Perform general cleaning duties, including laundry when required.
Ensure a safe working environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
Promote and safeguard the welfare of adults in your care.
Skills and Experience Required
Previous experience in non-domestic cleaning, ideally in a care setting.
Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely.
Effective communication with team members.
Reliability, trustworthiness, and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
