Job Description/Overview:
Halliday unifies Appchains, providing a seamless onboarding experience and one-click acquisition and management of assets across multiple chains through its proprietary Orchestration Layer. Backed by a16z and #Hashed, Halliday partners with developers like DeFi Kingdoms, Caldera, AltLayer, and Conduit. The team comes from top universities such as Stanford, Harvard, and Carnegie Mellon, and has experience with leading tech brands like Meta, Netflix, and Samsung.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement secure financial systems for purchasing virtual assets, transferring NFTs, and moving funds across chains.
Utilize TypeScript to build services, standalone web servers, and test suites.
Interact with various networks, protocols, and smart contracts using open-source blockchain SDKs.
Blueprint, build, and deploy internal and external API endpoints.
Contribute to Halliday’s public JavaScript SDK.
Work across multiple teams in an agile environment.
Explore protocol design with blockchain architects.
Continuously seek new ways to improve the service.
Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in TypeScript and experience as a backend developer.
Familiarity with web services, AWS, containerization, and cloud deployment.
Experience:
Backend development experience.
Proficiency in TypeScript and related technologies.
Experience with cloud deployment and containerization tools like Docker.
Skills:
Strong TypeScript and backend development skills.
Knowledge of cloud applications, scaling distributed systems, and secure DevOps practices.
