Role Overview:
The Social Media & Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for creating and managing social media content, coordinating brand partnerships, and helping execute the company’s marketing strategies. If you’ve grown a social media page as a hobby and are ready to take on the challenge of managing it for a brand, this role is perfect for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop copy, images, and engaging content for social media platforms.
- Create and manage the social media calendar.
- Monitor and engage with social media platforms daily to foster community growth.
- Coordinate brand partnerships and collaborations.
- Prepare reports and summaries of social media and marketing activities.
- Research competitors, industry leaders, and trends for actionable insights.
- Identify and research social media influencers to support brand growth.
Qualifications:
- Experience building a social media presence for fun (a food blog is ideal).
- Clever, resourceful, and organized with strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn new skills.
- A collaborative team player who’s not afraid to ask for help when needed.
- A creative problem-solver with a passion for marketing and food.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to take ownership of tasks.
Requirements:
- Current or recent undergraduate student, majoring in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Experience using major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
- Passion for food and knowledge of the food industry.
