Job Description/Overview:
As a Registered Nurse at Kenwyn Care Home, you will be responsible for looking after the physical, psychological, and social needs of our residents, ensuring they receive the quality care they deserve. You will have the autonomy to create a supportive environment for residents with varying physical and mental needs. Your role will include developing tailored care plans, safely administering medications, and ensuring excellence in care.
This position offers a £3000 Golden Hello and mileage contributions, along with fantastic opportunities for progression.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized care plans
Provide high-quality nursing care to residents
Administer medications safely
Make critical clinical decisions based on professional judgment
Work closely with a team to ensure residents’ well-being
Qualifications:
Current NMC registration (Required)
Good knowledge of the latest clinical practices
Experience with care plans and risk assessments
Understanding of regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines
Experience:
Previous experience in a nursing role within a care home or similar setting is desirable
Skills:
Excellent clinical decision-making abilities
Strong interpersonal skills
Compassionate and dedicated to person-centred care
