Job Description/Overview:
Xpress Freight Management, one of Australia’s fastest-growing transport providers, is seeking a permanent AM Forklift Operator to join our Altona depot. This hands-on role is integral to our Victorian operations, focusing on loading and unloading tasks while ensuring exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload both inbound and outbound linehaul units.
Prepare linehaul units for loading.
Load and unload local PUD vehicles.
Liaise with local staff, customers, and receivers.
Ensure compliance with WHS and COR regulations.
Maintain high levels of visibility and service for customers.
Role Requirements:
Current forklift license.
Current motor vehicle license.
Sound understanding of OH&S/WHS principles.
Experience:
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume transport environment is essential.
Skills:
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work efficiently and safely.
