Job Description/Overview:
As an Experienced E-commerce Business Developer at VML, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic partnerships, sales initiatives, and operational excellence. Working within VML, a leading Amazon consulting agency in Europe, you will collaborate across multiple sectors to ensure long-term sales growth through innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership Development:
Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow the business.
Collaborate with the business team to offer suitable products to customers.
Build strong relationships with existing clients and expand portfolios.
Sales and Presentation:
Deliver presentations to prospective clients and internal stakeholders.
Work on Requests for Proposals (RFPs) with the business development team.
Negotiate contract terms and drive the end-to-end sales process.
Provide status reports to the team leader and clients.
Operational and Project Management:
Gather information from customer and competitor data.
Organize training sessions with customers and monitor project teams.
Ensure contracts are executed according to agreements.
Create and implement processes and policies to support overall business growth.
Qualifications:
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Proven stress management skills and proactive problem-solving abilities.
Professional appearance and demeanor to instill trust with clients.
Analytical mindset with a strong ability to leverage data for decision-making.
University degree in business administration, sales, or a related field (MBA preferred).
At least 8 years of experience in business development or a similar role within the digital industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Excellent oral and written communication in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of French or other European languages.
Familiarity with Amazon’s business model.
Experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry.
