Job Description/Overview:
Halliday, a fintech startup backed by a16z and #Hashed, is revolutionizing commerce automation for modular chains. We help developers integrate blockchain payments seamlessly, enabling instant settlements in the token of their choice. As the second Business Operations hire, you’ll gain hands-on experience in the blockchain industry, working closely with engineering teams and senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives and business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
Develop operational processes, systems, and metrics to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, Sales, and Marketing) to align on objectives and drive execution.
Lead special projects and initiatives to improve performance and drive innovation.
Prepare reports and presentations to support key business initiatives and investment decisions.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong understanding of blockchain technology.
2+ years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Figma, Jira, and/or SQL.
Willingness to travel for conferences.
Experience:
2+ years of experience in related fields.
