Job Description/Overview:
Andover Manor Rehab and Nursing is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker Assistant to provide psychological, rehabilitation, and social support to our patients and their families. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support our elder population.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in providing psychological and social support to patients and their families.
Conduct assessments and implement social work methods and techniques.
Collaborate effectively with a variety of disciplines in individual and team settings.
Understand and implement state and federal regulations related to social work.
Maintain clear communication with patients, families, and other team members.
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of the Medicaid process is required.
Experience in Social Work or a related field is preferred but not required.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with elders.
Experience:
Experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
Skills:
Strong assessment and social work methodology skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Salary:
$45,000 per year (Employer Est.)
