Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Social Media Manager, EU & CIS to join our Growth team and shape our social media strategy across Europe and the CIS. You will work closely with our EU & CIS team and our Global UX Team, leading the European Social Media Specialists. This role requires a hands-on approach, with daily engagement in social media initiatives, guiding strategy, and developing our social media ecosystem to raise brand awareness, drive user engagement, and boost conversions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the social media strategy for the EU & CIS region, aligning with overall business goals.
- Lead and mentor the European Social Media Specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
- Stay abreast of European cultures, consumer behavior, and market trends to inform content and strategy.
- Manage brand presence across various platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, Telegram, LinkedIn, and Snapchat, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement engaging content and influencer marketing campaigns.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail.
- Engage with external stakeholders and manage communications effectively.
Requirements:
- Approximately 7-10 years of experience in social media and creative development, with a preference for candidates with travel industry experience.
- Proven management and hiring experience, demonstrating strong leadership skills and a people-oriented approach to motivate a team of talented professionals.
- Deep understanding of European cultures, consumer behavior, and market trends.
- Professional-level English with impeccable verbal and written communication skills.
- Extensive experience in brand management, content creation, influencer marketing, and market insights within the social and digital space.
- Proficient in social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, Telegram, LinkedIn, and Snapchat, along with an understanding of emerging trends.
- A proactive attitude towards ownership of projects outside your immediate job description, with a willingness to learn.
- Exceptional communication skills and experience managing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong time management skills and operational excellence.
