Job Description/Overview
As a Night Senior Carer at a Barchester care home, you will be responsible for ensuring that the varying needs of our residents are met, delivering quality, person-centered care and support. Your role includes supervising and inspiring a team of Care Assistants while supporting the clinical team in specific areas such as medication management and care reviews. You’ll play a key role in creating a warm and vibrant environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support a team of Care Assistants.
Assist the clinical team with medication, assessments, care plans, and reviews.
Ensure respect for the dignity and preferences of all residents.
Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care is required.
Knowledge of clinical care for the elderly is essential.
Experience
Previous experience in a care setting, especially with elderly residents, is preferred.
Skills
Compassionate and warm-hearted approach to care.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
