Job Description/Overview
Philip Barbour High School is seeking a qualified Mathematics Instructor to fill the remainder of a 200-day contract for the 2024-2025 school year. The candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality mathematics instruction to high school students under the supervision of the school principal.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Mathematics to high school students
Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials
Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
Implement teaching strategies that cater to diverse learning needs
Collaborate with staff and administration to enhance student learning
Qualifications
Valid West Virginia Teaching Certificate endorsed in Mathematics 05-AD
Ability to meet the instructional needs of high school students in Mathematics
Employment Term
Remainder of the 200-day contract for the 2024/2025 school year
Salary
Based on experience and education level per Barbour County Schools salary schedule, plus a competitive benefits package, equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation.
