About the Role
As a Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for the end-to-end payroll process for employees across multiple countries, including payroll verification, error-free deliverables, and handling statutory requirements. You will also collaborate with various internal teams to resolve employee queries, process payments, reconcile payrolls, and manage vendor coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Process monthly, bi-monthly, or weekly payroll payments
- Verify payroll inputs and outputs for accurate processing
- Handle full and final settlement for resigned employees and other one-off payments
- Reconcile payrolls processed with vendor teams and manage invoice reconciliation for consultants
- Coordinate with the Finance team for payment reconciliation and fund booking
- Report on statutory dues and manage government department notices
- Support annual filing processes for multiple countries
- Prepare and validate payroll reports, including variance and comparative summaries
Payroll Entity Implementation
- Support payroll and entity setup
- Implement process automation initiatives
- Manage vendor performance and work on RCA creation for issue resolution
- Act as the SPOC for internal and external audits related to payroll
- Maintain payroll documentation
Countries/Regions Managed: Africa, Middle East, and Europe
Ideal Candidate
- Extensive knowledge of payroll processes and practices, including tax and compliance
- 2-4 years of experience in payroll delivery
- Ability to work with regulatory bodies and key internal stakeholders
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Flexibility to work with different stakeholders in a dynamic environment
- Go-getter attitude with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
