Job Description/Overview:
NTT DATA is seeking a Sr. Sales Executive to join our team, focusing on IT Services and Solutions within the Manufacturing industry. This remote position, based in the greater Chicago area, will require travel for client meetings and events. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in IT Solutions sales, especially in Manufacturing, with a proven track record of closing high-value deals.
Key Responsibilities:
Originate and close new business at the C-Level, VP, and Director level within Manufacturing and related industries.
Develop and execute strategies for acquiring new clients.
Build and maintain relationships with prospective customers, utilising NTT DATA resources.
Manage sales and account plan information, promoting value-add solutions.
Drive the entire sales cycle from initial engagement to closing sales.
Prospect for potential customers using both direct and indirect methods.
Present to internal and customer senior leaders and decision-makers.
Collaborate with technical staff and product specialists to meet customer requirements.
Provide feedback to management on market trends and competitive threats.
Qualifications:
Basic:
Minimum of 8 years of sales experience in Technology Solutions, with at least 70% in IT Services.
Minimum of 3 years of experience selling to Manufacturing, Commercial, Industrial, or Aerospace clients.
Proven record of closing multi-million dollar deals (preferably $15-20M+).
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Ability to travel up to 40%.
Preferred:
Success in meeting/exceeding annual quotas of $16M+.
High energy level and ability to work under pressure.
