Position: Sales Manager

Job Description/Overview:
Join NTT DATA, a company renowned for its technical excellence and leading innovations. As a Sales Manager, you will lead a team of dedicated GIN Sales Representatives and be responsible for generating new incremental monthly recurring revenue (NIMR) through the sale of GIN products and services to existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage a sales organisation focused on North American markets.
Provide deal support for new customer opportunities and renewals/upgrades.
Collaborate with Product/Sales Management, IP Operations, and other groups to provide market feedback.
Track and analyse ongoing sales opportunities and report to Senior Management.
Work with Sales Engineering, Product Development, and Marketing teams to promote success.
Enforce performance standards and address issues in a timely manner.
Ensure staff participation in all company wide mandates/training.
Comply with Corporate Equal Employment Opportunity and security policies.
Travel up to 25% of the time.
Qualifications:
8+ years of sales and/or business development experience.
5+ years of experience in IP or data centre/Telecom industries preferred.
3-5+ years of experience managing a direct sales team.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Experience:
Proven track record of managing a national/regional level sales team.
High technical aptitude to articulate underlying technologies of the Internet.
Working knowledge of telecom and Internet transit services.
Skills:
Excellent communication abilities in English (verbal and written).
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work with executive-level prospects.
Proven success in meeting/exceeding sales team quotas.
Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
