Job Description/Overview:

Family Support Workers play a vital role in supporting biological parents and caregivers by teaching skills that promote a thriving home environment. Responsibilities include transporting children to supervised visits with parents, providing one-on-one skill teaching, and supporting families to ensure safety and well-being. Workers have flexibility and autonomy while meeting assigned case hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Work directly with families to teach parenting and home safety skills
Transport children to supervised visits
Participate in weekly and monthly meetings and trainings
Ensure a safe, positive family environment
Mileage reimbursement for work-related travel
Qualifications:
Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license
Access to a cell phone and internet for work communication
2+ years of experience working with individuals to facilitate change or a bachelor’s degree in human services (volunteer experience can be listed)
Strong communication and timeliness
Experience:
2+ years of related experience or a degree in the human services field
Skills:
Teaching and communication skills
Flexibility and the ability to work independently

Additional Information:
Salary: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour, plus a $3.00/hour differential on weekends
Mileage reimbursement
40+ hours of paid training
