As a Content Writer, you’ll create engaging, informative, and compelling content that enhances our brand and resonates with our growing audience in the gig economy.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Write high-quality content for our website, blogs, newsletters, and social media channels.
- Research & SEO: Conduct research on industry trends, topics, and keywords to ensure that content is relevant, SEO-friendly, and optimized for search engines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop content strategies that align with overall business goals.
- Editing & Proofreading: Review and edit content for clarity, grammar, and quality before publication.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on content trends and industry best practices to produce fresh and engaging material.
- Reader Engagement: Respond to comments and feedback on various platforms to foster community engagement.
- Content Planning: Assist in developing content calendars and brainstorming new content ideas.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a content writer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of published work.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with a focus on clarity, grammar, and tone.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
- Strong research skills and the ability to distill complex topics into engaging and understandable content.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML knowledge is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
- A passion for the gig economy and a desire to create meaningful content that supports gig workers.
