Overview:
SSH Talent (Search | Select | Hire Talent) is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Recruitment Consultant & Business Development Specialist to join our team on a freelance, commission-based basis. This remote role is perfect for an experienced recruiter with a passion for talent acquisition and business development. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, possess exceptional networking skills, and excel at building lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:
- Source, attract, and engage high-quality candidates across multiple industries and job roles.
- Manage the full recruitment life cycle, from job posting and screening to interviews and presenting candidates to clients.
- Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline for current and future job openings.
- Conduct in-depth candidate assessments to ensure alignment with client requirements.
Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring top-notch service and client satisfaction.
- Act as a trusted recruitment partner by understanding clients’ hiring needs, company culture, and long-term goals.
Business Development:
- Proactively identify and target potential clients to offer tailored recruitment solutions.
- Pitch recruitment services to new clients and secure exclusive recruitment agreements.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends and new business opportunities.
- Build strategic partnerships with organizations and networks to grow the client base.
Freelance & Remote Setup:
- Manage your own schedule and tasks as an autonomous remote consultant.
- Leverage remote collaboration tools to communicate with both clients and candidates effectively.
- Adhere to all contractual obligations tied to exclusive service agreements.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of recruitment experience, ideally combined with business development.
- Proven track record in placing candidates across different industries and sectors.
Skills:
- Strong negotiation and sales abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and projects at once.
- Expertise in sourcing strategies, networking, and attracting top talent.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a remote work environment.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, job boards), and online collaboration tools.
