Job Description/Overview:
BIRD LOGISTICS LTD. is seeking Truck Drivers to join their team. This role involves transporting goods and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Arrange travel itineraries and make reservations
Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
Load and unload goods
Obtain necessary permits for transporting cargo on international routes
Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks
Inspect the vehicle’s condition, including tires, lights, and brakes
Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
Ensure the safety and security of cargo, including tarping
Supervise other truck drivers
Education:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience:
1 to less than 7 months
Credentials:
AZ class licence
Air Brakes Endorsement
Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
Workplace:
On-site (no remote work option)
Salary:
$26.50 per hour
35 to 50 hours per week
Additional Information:

Must have a valid passport, pass a criminal record check, and undergo drug testing.
Physically demanding; ability to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
