Job Description/Overview:
Voyage Care is looking for caring and hands-on female Support Workers to assist four adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and complex needs at the Glan Yr Afon supported living service in Llanbrynmair. As a support worker, you will help individuals gain more independence, participate in daily activities, and be part of a dynamic team in a welcoming and friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching life skills and promoting independence
Assisting with personal care
Encouraging community access and social activities like visiting bars, playing video games, watching films, or going to the cinema
Supporting individuals in achieving personal goals, from cooking meals to going on holidays
Salary: £12.00 per hour
Hours Per Week: 35 hours

Typical Shifts:
Mornings: 07:00-15:00 or 08:00-15:00 (Mornings finish at 10:00 on Day Service days)
Afternoons: 15:00-21:00, Sleep-ins
