Job Description/Overview:
Voyage Care is seeking dedicated and caring Support Workers to assist individuals at their residential service in Wellington. The home offers a welcoming environment with a hydrotherapy pool and sensory room, and provides care for individuals with autism, acquired brain injuries, and complex mental health needs. As a Night Support Worker, your responsibilities include assisting with bedtime routines, personal care, completing regular checks, and performing light domestic duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with personal care and bedtime routines
Conduct regular checks throughout the night
Perform light domestic tasks during downtime
Support individuals in achieving greater independence and confidence
Work within a team to implement Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice

Typical Shifts:
20:00 – 08:30 (3 shifts per week, including alternate weekends)
Qualifications:
No specific experience required, but applicants must have a passion for improving lives and a genuine caring attitude.
Experience:
Experience with autism, acquired brain injury, and complex mental health needs is beneficial. Familiarity with Positive Behaviour Support plans is also desired.
