Job Description/Overview:
Voyage Care is looking for caring, hands-on support workers dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for the people we support. As a Care Assistant, you will help individuals gain more independence in their daily lives while working within a dynamic team in a welcoming residential environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with personal care and daily living skills
Teach new life skills and encourage independence
Support individuals in accessing local communities and engaging in social activities
Participate in activities such as lunch clubs, cinema outings, and bowling
Salary: £12.34 per hour
Hours Per Week: 35 hours

Typical Shifts:
07:00 – 14:30
14:00 – 21:00
07:00 – 21:30 (Waking nights 21:30 – 07:00)

Qualifications:
A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential
Experience following Positive Behaviour Support plans
Experience working with clients with epilepsy and learning disabilities is advantageous
Experience:
Previous experience in a support role is desirable but not essential.
