Job Description/Overview:
This position involves surface preparation, repairing cracks, applying finishes, and advising on wall coverings for various locations. The work must be completed on-site, and the role includes different shifts such as day, weekend, overtime, and morning.
Key Responsibilities:
– Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted.
– Repair cracks and holes.
– Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and fabrics.
– Erect scaffolding and attach rigging.
– Apply paint, wallpaper, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
Qualifications:
– Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Experience:
– 1 to less than 7 months of experience.
Skills:
– Equipment and machinery experience: brush painting, conventional spray painting, roller painting.
– Surface preparation experience: drywall taping/patching.
